The Centre for Education Futures provides professional development opportunities to staff through a variety of workshops.


Carpe Diem workshops

The Carpe Diem (from the Latin 'seize the day') process is a fast, effective and highly practical design process to enable unit teams to understand, develop and implement forward-looking, student-centred learning designs.


Blackboard support drop-ins for staff

The Centre for Education Futures, working with the Associates Deans Teaching and Learning, has organised drop-in events where a Learning Technologist will be on hand to provide advice and support while you work on your LMS unit(s).

Blackboard Master Classes

A list of Blackboard Master Classes are on offer to all UWA staff by the Centre for Education Futures (Capability and Capacity).


Transforming Teaching for Learning Unit

All current UWA staff with a role in teaching and learning are invited to apply for a unit called Transforming Teaching for Learning (TTL) offered by the Centre for Education Futures.
