The top three priorities for the Education Portfolio are: to lead and inspire the development, delivery and support of a world-class student experience throughout UWA; to successfully implement the Education Futures vision and engage in a process of continual improvement of student education; and to build a shared culture within the Education portfolio based on communication, collaboration and co-operation.
Our outstanding educators are recognised through the annual UWA Awards for Excellence in Teaching, UWA Faculty Teaching Awards, and UWA Non-Faculty Awards.
UWA consistently ranks highly in international ratings: the Academic Ranking of World Universities from Shanghai Jiao Tong University has placed UWA at 87th internationally, and the 2015 QS World University Rankings placed UWA at 98th in the world.
