If you would like further information about Learning Technologies, contact the Centre for Education Futures.
The Centre for Education Futures provides support to staff using a variety of information communication technologies and other flexible learning strategies.
UWA's central LMS provides staff and students with a password-protected, unit-based learning environment. Staff can develop tools to enrich their students' learning experience; students can access learning materials and participate in online activities at their own convenience.
There are two means for staff to record lectures: lectures captured automatically in lecture venues (LCS), and lectures recorded at your computer (PCap). The Lecture Capture System (LCS) records a lecture presentation and processes it for viewing. Personal Capture Software (PCap) enables staff and students to record a presentation at their computer which can then be uploaded into LCS for viewing.
ePortfolios allow students to reflect on experiences, plan learning, upload evidence of learning activities, and to showcase their abilities.
