CAIDi (Curriculum Approval Information Database online) is UWA's curriculum management system used to manage new proposals and changes to existing curriculum. CAIDi includes all new and change forms with embedded links to relevant policy and guidance documents.

Note: CAIDi data can be accessed by all UWA staff with a Pheme login. Before you can propose or edit curriculum in CAIDi you have to be granted permissions by your Faculty Curriculum Officer or equivalent.

Click here to go to CAIDi! If you are connecting from outside the UWA network, refer to 'Access outside of UWA network'.

Guidance and advice sheets

Introduction to CAIDi presentation - a quick run through of CAIDi, what it is and how it works

Advice sheets cover a range of areas relevant to curriculum management. They provide practical support and guidance on how curriculum matters are managed on CAIDi, offer tips on how to use CAIDI efficiently and describe the different types of processes.

Access outside of UWA network

For security reasons you must be connected to the UWA network to access CAIDi. If you are working externally, you can use UniConnect VPN Service to connect to the UWA network. Business Information and Technology Services (BITS) provides configuration guides for different systems.

Mail from CAIDi

CAIDiMail may occasionally be redirected to your spam folder. To prevent this in Outlook on Windows, on the Home tab go to Junk, select Junk e-mail options, go to the Safe Senders tab and add help-curriculum@uwa.edu.au. For Mac OS Outlook users, go to the “Tools” menu and click “Junk E-Mail Protection.” Switch to the “Safe Domains” tab. Type @uwa.edu.au into the text box, and click “OK.”

I found a bug!

Don't panic! Contact help-curriculum@uwa.edu.au with the subject line 'CAIDi bug' and describe what went wrong where. Please include a bit of detail – just saying "it's not working" or "it's not letting me in" doesn't help us fix the bug for you!
